Hello, my name is Sol Andino and I am an artist with big dreams. I am currently a Graphic Design student pursuing my Associates, and during this time I want to gain as much experience as I can to broaden my skillset.
The studio name of Ghost Blossom came about during my time in Japan. The tree is a stylized rendition of a cherry blossom or Sakura tree, which symbolizes renewal, and the skull is meant to represent the beauty growing from something long gone.
Within the last few years, I have started taking my art seriously. For some time, I struggled with poor self-confidence, especially in art. I still find myself reverting to that old mindset at some points, but I remind myself that I am meant to be an artist.
